The client is a New York based consultant for startups and small businesses. They are acclaimed for innovative software solution ideas that have helped businesses grow in the last 20 years. One of their solutions is an inventory planner & manager tool that helps create an inventory of items and create barcodes for boxes, bins or stock items when required. DreamzTech got the opportunity to enhance this software due to a growing need for consumers to have a simple way to track and quickly access information about what they’ve packed. The application would provide a method to link a list of items to a pre-printed label and allow the users to share the information with people in their phone contacts.

Approach from DreamzTech

The customer wanted a solution to manage medical worker compensation and their work assignment as well as individual patients on a single platform. The solution developed by DreamzTech integrates two platforms into a single functional one to manage the employee’s activity and compensation along with the patient history in the form of a case through the same platform. The solution is a multi-tenant platform with custom branding.


DreamzTech scrutinized business requirements and researched on similar apps to produce a feature list. Our analysts used the existing application to discover features and shortcomings. A list of features to retain and areas of improvement was produced. The target audience was identified.


Technical architects were utilized by DreamzTech to analyze existing software and suggest technology to be used for the new app. Technology to be used for the backend was identified. A list of APIs that could be used from the existing application was also generated for cost-saving.


DreamzTech followed an Agile process for implementation. It was decided that only the Android version of the app will be released in the first phase for beta testing. We accepted almost every change request from the client in every sprint even though the budget was fixed.


The client has been handed over a robust, easy to use Android app that can appeal to several business types. Its extreme flexibility ensures that users follow the workflow they prefer. The app has attracted positive feedback from a large number of beta users. DreamzTech is currently working on the iPhone version of the app and integration with Alexa.
